Bob Packard Climbs All County Highpoints Above 3000 Feet

The headline on this article was originally about Charlie Winger climbing above 3,000 feet but that was based on a misprint — he’s climbed the peaks above 13,000 feet — still a remarkable feat. There are 645 counties above 3,000 feet including all Colorado’s 64 counties. Texas interestingly has 53 counties as does Montana. California has 52. And of course there are the peaks in the East.
