On Arpil 20th I flew to Atlanta, rented a car and drove to Vogel State Park and camped there for the night. Very nice camp ground. I got up very early and drove straight to Brasstown Bald took the walked up the .5 mile trail and tagged the sumit by 7:15am then back to the car and on the road to sumit number two for the day ( see SC Sassafras Mountain )
If anyone knows the record for most state sumits in one day or a 24 hour period please let me know.
