      Climbed with Brother-In-Law Joe Pare. No problem getting into the park or getting parking at Abol. We went up Abol Slide, returned down Katahdin Stream Trail. 11 mile round trip. Great weather, great day. Elevation gain sure is easier when you top out below 7,000 feet! Met a fellow at the top who was just finishing doing the complete AT. He lit up a cigar and we took pictures.
