Thanks guys for bringing back some memories. Climbed Gannett way back in the late 70s. We traded off a real long summit day, cached the heavy stuff back at Titcomb Basin, took the tent, climbing gear and camped out at the head of Gannet Glacier. That Glissade down from the top of Dinnwoody Pass has to be one of the top 10 things I’ve ever done in my life.

Great job guys for sticking with it. I was there a couple weeks before you but when I heard that the summit day over Dinwiddie Pass was 23 hours for a guy a met on Kings Peak in Utah the week before, I decided to come in from the north instead. My summit day was a 6-hour roundtrip! Much preferable, but the bugs were horrendous!
