FIFTY FLAGS OVER AMERICA

From Concept to Reality!

Our poster is now a reality and it is all that we had hoped for and more. We think you will agree that it is stunning! It features an outline map of the United States with the location and names of the state highpoints. On top of this map are photographs of Highpointers Club members displaying the American flag atop each of the 50 state highpoints. Appropriate wording commemorates the American way of life and the first anniversary of the tragic events of 9/11/01.

Available Now!

On August 30, 2002, this poster was distributed to various dignitaries, and to the fifty owners/managers of the state highpoints. A cover letter was included to express our Club's support. This same poster is now available for sale in three different sizes and is suitable for framing. It is printed with a high-resolution plotter on quality paper so the color photos are clear and dramatic. The postpaid price of the poster includes the production cost and a small contribution for the distribution mentioned above. A discount is available if you can pick up the poster in Golden or at the Oklahoma convention.

Large (36x48) laminated $50, paper $30
Medium (24x30) laminated $20, paper $15
Small (11x17) laminated $13, paper $8

The large posters are excellent for larger rooms and for donation to offices and organizations. The medium & small sizes hold all the photographic detail. The small laminated versions are perfect as table place mats. Consider giving these as gifts.

Media Copies

In addition to being available for sale, if any member of the Highpointers Club can suggest a local newspaper for media contact, or knows a VIP who may appreciate a copy, please provide the necessary contact information to: Newsletter@Highpointers.org or HP.Merc@Highpointers.org

An Album of All the Photos

With a major showing of support by highpointers across the United States, far more photographs were received than we were able to use on the poster. So we've created a historic scrapbook containing all the photographs that were submitted for this project, as well as the cover letters sent along with the posters to the groups affected by 9/11. This album will be available for your viewing pleasure at the annual Highpointers Club conventions.

The project team extends a hearty thank you to all who participated in this extraordinary effort, and hopes that this poster will be a visual reminder to you and your friends of our fantastic hobby and our great nation. Peace.
