Details of July 31 Tri-State Canoe Trip During Highpointers 2009 Convention

Here are the details of the canoe float trip down the Delaware River to visit the NY/PA/NJ  Tri-State Marker on Friday, July 31st during the 2009 Highpointers Convention at High Point, New Jersey.

More than 100 people have signed up for this event already 

Register now while there is still time.  Remember, registration ends July 10th!!!

Costs:
$25 for adults 12 and older
Children under 12 are free as long as they accompanied an adult.
This cost is not included in the Convention package.

Meeting Detail:
Meet at 8:30am at the lobby of the Hunts Landing Best Western to catch the shuttle bus to the Matamoras Base at 1138 Delaware Drive – Matamoras, PA 18336 (about 5 miles north of the convention site)
Canoeing Time: The website lists the time as 3.5 hours for the 7 mile canoeing trip

Route:
The canoes set in above the tri-state marker and pass the pass the marker about 2 miles later. It will pass the Hunts Landing Hotel a mile after that. It sets in at Milford, Pennsylvania about four miles later.

We will be transported back to the Matamoras drop to pick up your cars and you should be back at the hotel by 1:30 PM.
