A fine day (Saturday) on Memorial Day Weekend. My son, the wife, our 2 dogs and I journeyed from Fostoria, Ohio to Hoosier Hill. Temps were in the high 70’s for most of the morning and we had little trouble making the 2.5 hour trek. The only hang up, was trying to drive through the tiny town of Union City, Ohio, on SR 47 (the roads aren’t very well marked through the town).
Hoosier Hill was well maintained. We only had to walk about 20 yards from our vehicle to sign the completely filled summit journal—-which we did on the back of the last page!!!!
2 States down (4%) 48 more to go (96%)…
