My girlfiend, friend and cousin climbed the largest mountain in New Hampshire via Tuckermans Ravine (round trip 8.2 miles). We camped the night before at Meadowbrook Campground. The camp site was especially small and close to our neighbors. We awoke early and were at the Tuckermans trailhead at 6:10 AM. We only passed two people on the trail on the way up. The weather through the climb was partly cloudy and cool. After passing Hermit Lake Shelters the climbing is steep. We reached the summit at 9:30 AM. The temperature on top was 43 degrees. We took some pictures then went inside the Summit Building to warm-up and eat. All of us purchased a hot chocolate for $1. The descent was rough on the knees. We passed many hikers on the way to the summit. We reached the bottom at 1:30PM

We will return again next year!
