On our way back from a visit in Wausau, the four of us Minnesotans detoured north about 40 miles to visit our 3rd high point – Timms Hill in Wisconsin. Rainy and 56 degrees, the trails were a little slippery, but very well maintained. (I see this was a hot spot in July this year for the annual meeting, so everything looked spruced up!) We climbed the path and the wooden tower, but didn’t stay long as the wind and rain were picking up dramatically. Watch your step coming down if it’s wet, as the trail has a couple of steeper slippery spots. But it’s a short hike, so tennies can handle it.
Keep hiking! Linn, Sara, Matthew, Kelly
