Planned September 8 Dedication of Jack Longacre Highpointers Memorial on Taum Sauk

The dedication of the Highpointers Memorial to Jakk Longacre on the Taum Sauk ridge will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 8, 2007.

Come earlier in the day and help build the quarter mile trail to the memorial (along with its feeder trail to the Ozark Mountains Trail).

The Club formally took possession of the land (which Jakk’s daughter Lorrie Krontz donated at Jakk’s request) in March 2007. The land formerly belonged to Jakk
