Tim Webb Receives Jack Longacre Award at Tennessee 2014 Convention

Tim Webb Jakk Longacre Award
Tim Webb was received the Jack Longacre Award, the highest award of the club, at the Tennessee 2014 convention. The nomination information is below:

Nikki Hemphill and Don Holmes have nominated the following candidate and here are their comments:

We would like to nominate Tim Webb, a hard working club servant, to receive the Jack Longacre Award. His accomplishments are as follows: Tim has served as Club President from 2006-2009 and from 2011-present. He did an outstanding job as Chairman of the Jack Longacre Memorial. He was instrumental in getting Jack’s Glade transferred to the owner of the surrounding land and gaining a permanent easement to the Glade. Tim has served in several capacities for the Club including Board of Directors 2003-2009 and 2011-2014, Club Secretary 2005, Board Election Chair 2004, and Convention Committees in 2002, 2006 and 2014. He received the Vin Hoeman award in 2008 and the Frank Ashley Award in 2002 and 2007. In addition, he (with his whole family) has been a member of “The Crew” for several years. If there is a job to be done, Tim is there to assist or take complete charge. Tim is unquestionably worthy of this honor and we strongly recommend he be awarded the Jack Longacre Award.

Dave Covill added these comments:

Tim Webb has done more for the Club than any person not yet honored with a Jack Longacre Award. Tim has served on the Board for many years, assisted Jack Longacre in many ways, and has brought the Jakk’s Glade Project to fruition. I could go on and on, but no need; Tim is deserving, and the timing is right. There has not been a Jack Longacre Honoree for some time.
