2005 Frank Ashley Awards for Work on DC, IN and SC and Newsletter Column

The Highpointers Club gave five Frank Ashley awards for work in South Carolina, Indiana, District of Columbia

Robert Hyman – Work on getting the USGS to landmark the highpoint of the District of Columbia
Kyle Cummings and Ken Hendrickson – For transforming the Indiana highpoint from a run down mosquito trap into a garden spot destination
David Parsons – For keeping the board appraised as to developments the public ownership of Sassafras Mountain
Steve Tursi – For undertaking the Milestones column which is labor intensive
