Dues are $35 per year, whether domestic (USA) or international. Dues cover one address and include family members. Membership includes one copy of the club’s quarterly newsletter (4 issues per year), one vote during elections, and other benefits.

Memberships are nonrefundable.

Highpointing can be a dangerous and strenuous activity. Be sure to prepare yourself for each trip, whether that means physical conditioning and training for technical climbs or tuning up and changing the oil in your car. Always plan carefully and be ready for anything that may happen. Stay updated on weather conditions and adjust accordingly. Many books are available on travel, hiking, camping, mountaineering, and everything related to highpointing.

For more technical climbs, consider hiring professional guides. There are also schools and training courses that can teach you the nuances of climbing (no pun intended).
